Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation presents raffle ticket winners with $10,700 Canturi necklace!

Sophie MacPherson was announced the lucky winner by Jessica Rowe and Associate Professor Cindy Mak during Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation's virtual event – An Evening of Love & Legacy.

Canturi donated an 18ct white gold diamond necklace valued at $10,700 to be raffled off, raising $10,700 for the Foundation by selling 214 tickets.

Renae Lopez, Vice President of Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation visited Sophie and Ann MacPherson at Porky’s Nest on Friday 12 November to personally present the necklace to the lucky winner!

Sophie and Ann have lived in Singleton all their lives, moving to Newcastle in December 2016. Sophie has cerebral palsy, so the family started Porky’s Nest a gift shop and cafe in January 2017 and Sophie has really found her talents. Ann & Soph MacPherson met Suzanne and Sophie Evans of Symphonia Wines (a partner of the SBCF Love & Legacy event) through Porky’s Nest and have been friends with them since. Suzanne and Sophie Evans invited Ann and Soph to participate in An Evening of Love & Legacy fundraiser supporting Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation.
