For the second year, Burpees4Boobs was a hit - thank you for helping raise $198,049 for Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation and breast cancer patients
Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation brought the burpees back after the huge success of the inaugural campaign in 2020. Jessica Rowe signed up again, and the Foundation recruited Todd Liubinskas to the ranks of B4B Ambassador for 2021, and boy did he step up the challenge!
In Australia, 9 lives lost to breast cancer every day, that's 279 in the month of October. In honour of the 279 lives loves each month, Todd completed 279 burpees every day for the month of October – completing a total of 8,649 and raising $4,252 over the 31 days.
Everyone that burpee-ed throughout October or sponsored a burpee-er, made sure more people were talking about breast cancer, raising awareness of how early detection continues to improve survival rates and raised vital funds.
During October, 575 burpee-ers completed 271,384 burpees and raising $198,049 in support of Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation and breast cancer patients.
Burpees4Boobs ensures that the patient focuses initiatives Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation supports each year, will receive the funding they need and continue supporting more breast cancer patients.
Thank you to everyone who raised much-needed funds for the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation this October as we continue Beating Breast Cancer Together.
