Mamma Mia - July 2008

Mosman Greater Union Cinema was a buzz with chatter and excitement when over 600 women attended a private screening of Mamma Mia the movie, organised by Libby Adler and Anne-Marie Zukerman, together with a team of Mosman mums working together to raise funds for breast cancer treatment and awareness.

The event, held on Thursday July 24, generated an outstanding amount of more than $16,000 for the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation for its life saving work with breast cancer patients treated through the Sydney Breast Cancer Institute, based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

The event was a sell out within days and a second cinema was secured to accommodate the overflow. Guests sipped on sparkling wine and enjoyed the mandatory movie choc tops provided for everyone present. The movie was loved by all and there was dancing in the aisles.

A team of local mums sold stunning Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation pink ribbon merchandise including caps, pins, wrist bands, sweat bands and tennis socks. The Trent Nathan Pink Ribbon PJs were the best seller on the night. View the full range of Pink Ribbon products.

Our heartfelt thanks to Libby Adler and Anne-Marie Zukerman and their team for their amazing effort and result.
